Direct Booking: Name a Time and Sarra Just Books It

Direct booking is what happens when your email already names a specific date and time. Instead of proposing options, Sarra checks the host's connected calendar for that exact slot. If it is free she books the meeting immediately and confirms in the thread. If it is not free she says so and proposes the nearest alternatives, so a stated time is never booked over an existing commitment.

State a specific time in the email and Sarra books it without a round of proposals.

Include an explicit date and time in your message, for example "book us for Wednesday at 2pm ET"when you CC Sarra.

Sarra extracts the date, time, and any stated time zone from the wording.

Relative dates are resolved on the server in the host's local time zone, so "today" and "tomorrow" are always correct.

A bare weekday such as "Wednesday" resolves to the next upcoming Wednesday rather than jumping a week ahead.

A stated abbreviation like PST or EST is mapped to a real time zone and converted into the host's zone before the calendar is checked.

If the slot is free, Sarra books it. If it conflicts with something on the host's calendar, she replies with nearby alternatives instead.
